Roman architecture
As an archaeologist and architect I focus on the research of Roman architecture, inside and outside the province of Pannonia. I study the distribution and the local variations of Roman building types (e.g. baths, amphitheatres, fora, urban houses, villae, sanctuaries, etc.), the domestic buildings of Pannonia and their virtual reconstruction. I am interested in Roman building materials and building structures (walls, ceilings, roof structures, floors, vaults, etc.), in Roman antefixes, stamped bricks and tiles, as well as in other kinds of signs and footprints on Roman tiles.
Roman games
I am also interested in ancient, especially Roman games for children and adults, board games, etc. My main focus is on the find material, but I am intrigued by the possibilities lying in the reconstruction of ancient game rules and the potential role of ancient games in present-day education.
