Since 2023, the ECR network has been connecting early career scholars around the world who study, work, and publish across the frontiers of the Roman Empire. Researchers from countries including Canada, America, Great Britain, Serbia, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania, Poland, and Australia have joined the network, and we continue to grow each year. This website and the monthly newsletter support early career researchers by fostering collaboration and providing new perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches to our growing community. We organize conference sessions, events, and summer schools — simply, we connect people to one another. Together, we seek to uncover new insights into the complexities of the Roman borderlands, and to support the researchers of tomorrow.
