Anna’s PhD research focuses on the burial practices of the Lower Germanic limes area, stretching from the Dutch and German terp area to the north of Belgium, from the Late Iron Age to the Late Roman period. They combine their training in both History and Archaeology to approach the Roman frontier communities from a humanising perspective.
