My research interests are socio-cultural change in the Roman empire, explored through visual (funerary portraiture) and archaeological (textiles, textile tools, funerary contexts) sources. I combine this with an interest in experimental archaeology, valorisation projects and living history. I am deeply interested in military-civilian and gendered spheres of interaction.
